The Grenada Brain Bee (GBBC) Challenge is a competition for Secondary school forms III, IV and V students, ages 12 to 18. It is fashioned after a traditional Spelling Bee, except that students answer questions about the brain and neuroscience research. It is designed to stimulate interest and excitement about brain research and is affiliated to the International Brain Bee (IBB) Competition.

The International Brain Bee is an attempt to motivate our youth to learn about the brain, capture their imagination, and inspire them to pursue careers in biomedical brain research. We need their energy and their passion to fight and win the war against mental retardation, cerebral palsy, spinal cord injury and other brain disorders.
