ORGANIZATION

The organization of the Grenada Brain Bee Challenge is a voluntary job by spirited volunteers from schools, Government departments, St. George’s University and others from the general public. It has Dr. Francis A. Fakoya as the National Coordinator. Dr. Fakoya is Associate Professor of Histology and Cell Biology in the School of Medicine, St. George’s University Grenada. He is a member of the International Society for Neurochemistry, International Society for Developmental Neuroscience and International Brain Research Organization (IBRO), who has taken up mandate to foster one of the objectives of IBRO, ‘to raise general public awareness about brain functions and Neuroscience research’ in Grenada.

The Volunteers Working and Local Organizing Committee [LOC] of the GBBC is composed of highly respected volunteer members resident in Grenada from different walks of life.
